Disable Transparent Menu Bar in Leopard
via Daring Fireball, MacOSXHints.com has a post about how to disable / adjust transparency for OS X Leopards menu bar:Run: sudo defaults write /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.WindowServer 'EnvironmentVariables' -dict 'CI_NO_BACKGROUND_IMAGE' 1
Then restart.
You can also enter values between 0 and 1.
